Cocoa Camellia ^LLC is a small business that officially started in springtime of 2011. Currently there is no storefront and business is done mostly through local farmers markets, festivals, other shops, and now online.

Who's Camellia? I get asked this at least once at every show I go to but Camellia isn't from a person's name, it's from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis). And you probably guessed it but Cocoa is from the "chocolate" tree (Theobroma cacao).

Cocoa Camellia LLC started with the goal to provide easier access to unblended, classic loose-leaf tea, tea knowledge, and fun gourmet chocolate with a tea twist to Greeley and surrounding areas.

At Cocoa Camellia ^LLC we order our tea bases through International Tea Importers, Teas Etc, and the blending ingredients from Frontier Natural Food Coop. Currently we are growing some of our own herbs to use in our blends (specifically the Colorado Mint).

Our goal is to increase tea knowledge and appreciation. With that in mind we focus more on traditional unflavored teas and created very simple blends that don't over-power the natural character of the tea. (Just a heads up to those who like strong flavored teas our blends might not be suited for your palate).

A bit about the chocolates-

The dark chocolate (65%), cocoa powder, and cocoa nibs are organic/ fair trade grown from Sweet Earth Chocolates. The milk and white chocolate are from Guittard.

We wanted to combine our passion for tea and chocolate which is why our chocolate bonbons have a tea theme
